Release explores the quiet process of letting go. The flowing hair and fabric suggest something gradually loosening its hold, rather than being forced away. On the reverse, the words “Some things leave us only when we stop holding on” reveal the thought at the heart of the work — that release sometimes begins not with action, but with surrender.
