Morena, the Slavic goddess who stands at the threshold between seasons, life and death. She appears in folklore as the keeper of winter's sacred knowledge — not a destructive force, but a guardian of necessary transformation. This work explores the ancient feminine archetype of boundary-keeping: the woman who holds power over seasons, fertility, and the permeable space between worlds. Oil and mixed media on dark ground.
