Myth & Memory
“Butterfly Soul” Original painting
30 × 30 cm · 2025 · Framed
From the The Becoming series
“She was becoming. Gold by gold. Layer by layer.”
Central to this work is a woman in profile, set against a radiant celestial orb of hand-applied gold leaf. The butterflies that surround her are not decoration — they are the stages of transformation made visible. Painted in acrylic and mixed media, the dark starlit background holds the figure in a state of sacred becoming — the journey of self-discovery as a holy act.
